“As Time Goes By”

Jessica and I have been married for a month today (January 11, 2012). I knew I was in love with her from the moment we went on our first date. I loved her more and more the longer we were together. I never dreamed I could love her more than on our wedding day… I was wrong.

After 31 days of marriage, I have learned a few things…

1. I never knew how many electrically powered things there were to fix hair.
2. There is a certain way that the pillows on the bed should be arranged.
4. Always put things back in the pantry in the basket they were taken from.
5. Do not put bras in the dryer.
6. snuggling on the sofa while watching movies makes her happier than jewelry.
7. Don’t buy that… she can make it.
8. eating dinner at home is a lot more fun than going out (and less expensive)
9. certain colors do not look good together.
10. being married is RAD.

I waited a long time to find her and am thankful everyday that God gave me patience. I know that we’ve only been married a month and that there will be times that we will probably get frustrated with each other and times that she will probably want to kick me out of the house. But after the amazing experience that I’ve had the last 4 weeks, I can’t imagine anything that we can’t get through together.

I love my wife and will never take her for granted.

sincerely,
happy husband

Amore

Almost 2 years ago I had the pleasure of snapping photos for this amazing couple. She’s greek and he had flown in from Italy the day before. He barely spoke english. It was one of my first “elopements” The only person that knew they were getting married was her sister.
It was so much fun.

“You Send Me” Laura & Matt

Where do I begin? This wedding was amazing! It was held at Oldfield Plantation in Beaufort, SC. I loved working with Amanda Rose weddings. Those ladies KNOW how to coordinate a wedding. The day went off without any hiccups.
Matt and his guys wore seer sucker suits with white suede shoes, Laura wore a vintage gown. They are beautiful people. And I swear her Mother looks like Olivia Newton John. :)
The band (Deaz-Guyz) at the reception was really cool. They played a lot of older covers and a few new things. They stole my heart when they did a Sam Cooke medley near the end. Since the bride & her family are from California it was very appropriate that the father/daughter dance was to a beach boys song.

anyway… here are a few snapshots from the weekend…

“Follow Your Heart” Hannah & Josh

I love working with nice people! Seriously… Every wedding I have ever shot has been amazing. Hannah & Josh’s wedding was no exception. I had a great time spending the day with them and their family. They got married just outside of Atlanta so it was also nice to get to go home for the weekend.
you guys are rad!
here are a few snapshots from the day…

“Oh My Nola” Angela & Blake

A really cool advantage to being a photographer is getting to travel. Until last June I had never been to New Orleans. It is a beautiful city and I am so thankful to Angela & Blake for inviting me there to shoot their wedding. I had some great food, saw some great sights and had a lot of fun!
Here are a few snapshots from the weekend…

Only In New York “Thoroughly Modern Millie”

While I was in Brooklyn I had the pleasure of snapping a few photos of Ashley. Although she is very busy, she found some time to hang with me for an hour. Its not to often that you find a girl this beautiful on the outside that is just as beautiful on the inside.
Thank you Ashley for letting me capture some of your beauty!
The only word I have to describe this is: Stunning!

“Tribute In Lights” NYC 9-11-2010

I am so happy I was able to see this with my own eyes. This snapshot doesn’t do it justice.

“Jesse’s Girl” -Ashley & Jesse

Jesse is one of my dearest friends. And now Ashley is as well. They had a rad wedding at Callanwolde Fine Arts Center in Atlanta. The property was amazing and the tudor style house was beautiful. The rain stopped just in time to have the ceremony outside. As a photographer… that made me very happy.
From the beautiful surroundings to the sweet melodies of Mr. Nathan Angelo at the reception to the awesome bride & groom… it was a day to remember. Thanks guys for allowing me to be a part of it.

” I Only Have Eyes For You” -Melanie & Tyler

When Melanie started looking for a wedding photographer for her destination wedding in Savannah, where else would she look but facebook? Low & Behold… she found me! I am so happy she did!
It was a small gathering of family and I was only with them for around 3 hours but It was great. The Forsyth Park Inn is a great place for a wedding and getting to use the park for photos is always a plus.
Melanie & Tyler… you guys are Rad! p.s. Tyler has the best beard ever, i am jealous!

“Friday, I’m in Love” Katie & Nick

I LOVE these guys! No… seriously! I met Nick when he worked at the Saab dealership. He gave me a ride to get my loaner car and noticed I had Francis Chan playing on the radio. From then on… we were friends. Then… I met Katie. I have no idea how he was able to get a girl like her. :) She is amazing.
When they asked me to shoot their wedding I was thrilled! Then I showed up to Dunaway Gardens in Newnan, Ga. on the day of the ceremony and was blown away by the beauty. Of course nothing could compare to Katie in her dress! :)
